Description
A dog that pulls on a regular collar is choking itself and dragging you down the street. A head collar changes the physics: when the lead attaches at the muzzle instead of the neck, a gentle turn of the head redirects your dog without any choking or yanking. This one is lined with padded neoprene so it won't rub or chafe the sensitive skin around the muzzle, and it adjusts to fit snugly without being tight. It is a training tool, not a muzzle, your dog can still pant, drink, and take treats. Walks get calmer within a few outings for most dogs.

What pet people say
Finally!! One that doesn't break!!
I wish I could give this more stars!!!! I have struggled for the past 3 years constantly buying leads for my pup. I really need a lead/muzzle combo for him and every single one I've purchased breaks, and typically within the first 2 weeks. I got to the point where I hand sewed stitches since the metal or plastic part of the lead to size around the snoot would break. This is the first time where I'm about a month or so and it's still works perfect. SO happy and pleased with this purchase.
Just try it
Works perfectly. My Rottweiler doesn't pull at all with this, where as on normal leash and collar she pulls hard core when she sees people or other dogs. She will drag me to people or dogs with e collar, prong collar, choke chain and flat collar.

I love this gentle lead halter for my Great Pyrenees! There is no way he can take me for a Nantucket Sleigh Ride! One day I took him out using a collar…I won't do that again! The only problem that I have had with the halter is uninformed folks believing it is a muzzle and trying to remove it!
Pros & Cons
Pros: The "snout buckle" is easy to adjust and appears to be sturdy; the padding over the snout is soft and seems comfortable; the price is right.
Cons: Back buckle is positioned on side of dog's head, necessitating extra care and time to not pinch the dog's ear! It would be safer and easier if buckle were positioned behind the head; the strapping is very soft and flexible, so it can slip and loosen easily, requiring readjustment.
I use these for my two large dogs.
It works
This collar comes with no instructions. It has a double strap and thick band that goes around the snout. I did not like the way it fit my big dog but my husband has been using it with our 45 pound dog and he is very pleased with it.
Not durable material
Only lasted a week before my dog ripped it apart. Worked well for short periods, probably a valuable training tool for more compliant dogs, but didn't work for my 10 year old lab.
